Daoud Hamdan
Daoud is a self-taught artist based in Belgium, driven by a personal quest: to transform raw emotion into visual language. At 32, he chose to devote himself fully to art, as a vital necessity, a way to give form to what moves the soul and the world.
Her work explores identity, memory, and inner freedom, blending painting, photography, collage, text, and reclaimed materials. Each work is born from the encounter between contemporary aesthetics and a profound sensitivity, between the roughness of reality and spiritual impulse.
Inspired by urban culture, his roots, and personal experiences, Daoud creates pieces that seek not just to be looked at, but to be felt. His images act as mirrors, shards of truth that provoke a reaction—emotional, visual, or reflective.
His art is not a setting: it is a presence. An invitation to stop, to question, to feel.
